It’s been ages since my last visit on the blog. I don’t even know if I was that busy, that tired or that lazy… Truth is I need a break, And I will get one at the end of the week, because we finally get some weekend getaway. This time to Romania. Celebrating my husband’s 30th birthday. Big deal, isn’t it?
Anyways…
This series of blog entries shouldn’t be called “Weekly inspirations” anymore, because I don’t really post it weekly. Maybe I should make it “monthly”? Or just “inspirations”…
So… today I am sharing these insightful quotes:
“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.” – Jim Rohn
“At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with your husband/wife, a friend, a child, a parent.” – Barbara Bush
“No amount of money or success can take the place of time spent with your family.” – unknown
“When in doubt, choose kids. There will ne plenty of time later to choose work.” – Anna Quindlen
“If you want your children to turn out well, spend twice as much time with then and half as much money.” – Abigail van Buren
“It’s not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor.” – Seneca
“I never cared about the material things a man can give me. I care about his time, attention, honesty, loyalty and effort. Those gifts means more than anything money can buy.” – unknown
“Children will not remember you for the material things you provided, but for the feeling that you cherished them.” – Richard L. Evans
Nowadays it seems like life is all about the money, business, getting more, winning more, investing more… And the essence of it is lost. Happiness is not about owning more and more things, but about the time you spend with the loved ones. Choose the right thing.
