Tomorrow is one of the most beautiful days in a year. Christmas. Jesus Christ’s birthday, if you prefer 🙂
Here in Bruges there is no snow, but the town is beautifully decorated. There is ice-skating field in the middle of the Market Square, surrounded by Christmas market, where you can buy little gifts, or drink hot wine, eat sausage with onion and enjoy the beautiful decorations around you. We love this time of year in our town, in every towns, since they are all decorated. And also at home, where you seek for warmth after walking around the city, busy doing the last shoppings.
Christmas trees are nicely decorated, houses as well. There are delicious scents everywhere, smell of food, candles burning, baked desserts. Atmosphere is incomparable to any other time in year. People are friendly, even in rush, kids are expecting Santa, so they try to behave, everywhere you look, there is a smile, helping hand, blessing mouth. And forgiveness.
I wish you all my readers, very beautiful Christmas time, spent with family and beloved ones, full of sharing and happy feelings. Without loosing the essence of this day, the most important thing: God is being born, to bring peace to the world.
